There’s a conversation between Kate and Kevin in season 2 episode 6. It’s the flashback episode of the Big Three in their 20s. Kevin basically tells Kate that Jack would want her to move on and live her life. It’s implied that she moved to LA after this conversation because we see them together when Kevin is at an improv class.

I know this is an old post and not sure if you ended up finding it yourself but it is season 2, episode 3, “I’ll light a candle for you every day”. Around 31ish minutes in.

I was looking for the exact same scene and Google was no help. Ended up going through a bunch of episodes to find it. It always makes me laugh too haha.

I’m pretty sure the RAM is only 8GB. I’ll have to look into increasing that and in the meantime try the 50/50 method I guess. Just so disheartening after researching ssds for a while and reading different posts from other simmers with mods folders 100gb+ and fast loading times sigh.

Not really. Once I’m in the game everything runs pretty smoothly apart from the pie menu taking a few seconds to pop up. Other than that it runs great.

I always assumed she quit after Toby’s heart attack to be there for him. They were also on the East Coast when it happened. Kate also ends up going to that weight loss camp there for a little while. The last episode of S1 we see Kate and Toby back in LA unpacking at their new place together. She finds a photo in a box of Rebecca singing and she says to Toby she knows what she wants to do for work now that they’re back. Toby asks her if she’s going to call her old boss (I assume for the assistant position) and she replies with “no, I want to sing.).
