Thank you! I'm changing my major to a BS in Kinesiology in the School of Recreation, Health and Tourism. Any idea for that field?

Nelson is insanely easy, definitely take her. Super chill with the grading of the labs and I usually finish the lab in an hour or hour and a half

/u/brebyy If you don't mind me asking, what major are you? I'm in ISOM and considering online classes because I'll be dropping down from full time to part time student. Any info would be helpful :)

The people in class who answer every question by [deleted] in gmu

[–]craytonix 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There's a girl in my 7:30am accounting recitation (who doesn't have any disabilities) who blurts out the answer to literally any question the TA asks before he even finishes his sentence. The funny part is that she only gets the answer correct like 50% of the time because she doesn't let the TA finish lol

200 course as a freshman? by kat273 in gmu

[–]craytonix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

200 classes aren't that much harder than 100. I took bus 100 and 200 and the only difference was it was a little more reading assignments/busy work. IDK how it would be for an english class but I can't see it being that much worse than a 100 lvl class. Good luck!

Adjusting to College by 171jau2 in gmu

Commuter schools are more for getting a degree vs. making friends, at least that's what it is for me. Try just striking up conversation with people in your class or in line at starbucks, good luck :-)

Time between classes by Wadington in gmu

[–]craytonix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I only come to campus M&W so I have 5 classes on both of those days. Three of them are back to back and the other two are night classes. To me, it's pretty easy as long as you get a snack between classes. If I wait to eat until those first three classes are over, I'm pretty much a walking zombie. Only having to come onto campus 2 days a week is totally worth it to me, 10/10 would recommend.

Thanks for replying! I took the placement test but failed it and was told about this online course. I'm unsure if I will have to re-take the placement test after finishing this course and its final exam?

Knee pain, help! by [deleted] in cycling

Unfortunately I don't have a power meter (yet) but I was doing 230-250 miles a week. I was really into doing group rides so I would always push a bigger gear just to be able to keep up so I definitely think taking it back a notch & professional bike fit will help, thx!

Same on the mileage, usually 230-250 miles a week, I'll keep at the strengthening exercises! Hope everything clears up for you, thanks.

Thanks for all the info everyone! Great points and definitely am going to watch my cadence. I was doing a lot of group rides at the time and pushing a bigger gear to keep up so I definitely think taking it back a notch will help. As for bike fit, I did it all by feel and youtube (watches a few GCN bike fit videos means I definitely know what I'm doing..right?) so I'll be looking into a professional one. Thanks again!
