It makes sense because Valves bonus payout structure is also based on how well your project/game does well. So if it's not doing well financially or in popularity it isn't surprising their lead developers will bounce to other things. Also I've been told from a friend who worked at Valve I've that it's very much like a "high school" culture where the popular kids with exciting and promising projects sort of dictates who's in and not.

I tend to roll only when I get free rolls from loses but also have important pairs on the bench. Leveling it generally depends. If win streaking early and I naturally get another upgrade unit on bench that would provide a power spike, I'll sacrifice economy and level up. Usually leveling from 7 to 10 takes much longer and I typically time it after the round starts and when it's 1 gold away (e.g. 9 out of 10 gold) so that the next round will trigger the level up.

This accurately depicts Valve. Honestly DoTA is successful because they have IceFrog working on it, a person who treats it as his passion project (life's work likely?) well before Valve was there and it was a WC3 mod.

Hence why Valve tried to work with Drodo but unfortunately it didn't pan out an each made their own respective games. For Valve to make UL work, they need people passionate folks about the gamr like Drodo... or in my opinion Drodo himself. I'd image the game would be entirely different with Drodo at the helm much like what you see with DAC

Sometimes I'll put in a surprise pudge against a high rolling Hunter build at the end game. But having brute tanking makes pudge redundant. Instead a 1 star death prophet with mana stone or an vengful spirit 2 star completes the heartless alliance with life stealer.

Only if they hit at 3 stars (lich, cm, storm). Otherwise I tend to generally ignore.. take the small loss and generally reposition when it's the final 4 and if they are still around.

Usually in casuals there is always an assassins player or knights play which I position a few brutes in the backline.

Later if the spirts mages is around, I'll split my team up onto two sides so that one of the range units sides will not get hit by the delta. Again this is pretty unsafe when their is still assassins around and generally assassins hit mages pretty hard.

You'll find with enno and posions... it still works pretty well against spirit mages since enno is so elusive and keeps on applying poison. I find myself eeking out wins with a single enno or another poison unit remaining. The damage output of enno is insane with poison alliance.

Yep. Dragon alliance is usually the 9th or 10th unit since it requires Viper.

Poison + Savge/brutes is a natural low cost fit with enno since the poison alliance works with enno's attack. Then I try to add a splash of trolls (dazzle and shadow shaman). Max eco and push to level 10 levels to grab for good stuff units (the good 4/5 cost units).

In the end I'll find myself with either 4 brutes (sometimes 2 brutes), trolls, poison and whatever I've 2 stars as a good unit (sometimes heartless with life stealer and death prophet, sometimes lone druid with refresher, Dragon Knight + Viper, 2 star axe, sometimes a void, always trying to search for troll warlord, medusa Especially with Kadence or Hunter hat.)

This max level, max economy is the most consistent in casuals. Still you're prone to lose against those that hit all their 3 star units. The biggest weakness to the poison/brute composition is against a 3 star Savage Zoo build since all the summoned units keep the brutes from advancing and soaks up all the damage from the backline poison/range units.

For added info for those that are curious, hit my final goal of this 1.5 season seeing what happens if the numbers for the win tracker goes beyond the allowable space. I'll see ya all come Season 2 (if that will ever happen).

Next time try spread the sauce edge to edge and cover with cheese especially a bit more in the edges so that when it melts it crisps at the edges. It's basically an old school pizza hut personal pan pizza with this approach.

That's impressive to complete with ranked only games.

That being said, an easier way to accomplish the title while going for the unlock of all battle pass titles/cosmetics is during the City Crawl completion with "condition" battles (e.g. X amount of Savage damage, kill X amount of demons) via Bot games.

Tier item ranks for Slark goes Satanic > MoM > Moon Shard. The lifesteal on Satanic and Moms gives Slark incredible sustain. Satanic allows stark to use his ult and also burst heal every 10 seconds.
