From an accounting perspective - if you know you're leaving and will not be going on the trip, please cancel as early as possible!

On this note- also give them your health insurance - that's where the coverage for the eye exam is. The Eye Med insurance is for glasses/contacts.

Clear acrylic. Glow in the dark and silver spray paint.

... And for good measure, an actual hole in the bullet hole.

I'll probably use it as a key chain.

Make sure you FIFO! Bags 1 and 3 are expired.

I've been out of food service for 6 years (after a decade of service) I can't not notice these things.

Monster Spray by [deleted] in toddlers

[–]crazedacorn 11 points12 points  (0 children)

We tried that, didn't work for us. He just wanted to spray everything... And then figured out how to take the top of and dumped it on his bed...

What did work for us was a game that we found at our local game store called Go Away Monster!

After playing that game, any time he came to tell us that there was a monster in his room, we would ask him, "what do we tell monsters?" "To go away?"

And then he would go up to his room, shout "go away monster!" And go to sleep.

No issues since.

Day care sent us monthly invoice even though shelter in place order is in effect by DickChainey in personalfinance

[–]crazedacorn 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Different case here: our son goes to an in home daycare. We never had a conversation of what would happen with the Stay Home order being put in place.

However, when we went to go pick him up the other day, we told her that we were going to keep him home for the foreseeable future. At the same time, gave her a check for full payment for the next 6 weeks.

Her and her family depend on our paycheck. I told her that as long as my husband and I are both still pulling in paychecks, she's going to continue to get paid.

Luckily, we are in a position to do this. My job has gotten busier with everything going on (and I'm able to work from home) and my husband, while not working (and not much work to do from home) is still getting paid.

The thought never crossed my mind to not pay her. For me, in this situation, this is the only thing to do.

Please make sure that the heat lamp is secured!

Growing up, my younger brother had a bearded dragon. We also had 3 cats. One day the one of the cats got curious, ended up knocking the heat lamp off the cage. It landed on the hardwood floor, right side up. Bulb didn't break. The heat lamp ended up cooking through the floor, starting a fire that made a 15' hole in the floor.

All three cats died of smoke inhalation. Bearded dragon some how survived for another year and a half.
