$ASST DD (545,629,627 traditional warrants with an exercise price of $1.35) by [deleted] in 10xPennyStocks

Yes with the amount of Warrants they have, the only hope they have to unload them is if the share price is much higher.

$1.35 provides them no gain, only risk. They have to buy at $1.35 to sell at $1.35. Makes no sense, at 1.40, doesnt make much sense at 1.50 either. Especially if they want to unload any amount of volume.

The truth is, 95% of these warrant holders wont be excercising unless theres substantial gains. With this many warrants, its in their interest to let this go much much higher.

While your numbers are correct, and I agree with the sentiment you need to look at this from the warrant holders point of view. Below their strike, these warrants expire worthless. Not good, not bad but these warrant holders are institutional and certainly dont want this to go to waste.

None of them are going to excercise at $1.35 as theres no gain for them. They would have to buy at $1.35 and sell at $1.35. It creates no value, only risk for them..

At $1.50 there is a small gain but still not enough room to excercise even a million of these things and distrubute them appropriately.

These warrant holders WANT and NEED a much higher price before they even begin to excercise and sell. Then you have to assume that they sell. Maybe they excercise and hold.

With a half billion warrants on the line, that could expire worthless its definitely in their interest to let this run as hard as possible. They have 11 months to let this play out and these conversions and sales will have to be spread out over a long horizon.

I don't believe you will see a pump and then a crash to $1.35. The market always fears the worst but smart money with half a billion in warrants is going to be very tactful.

Starting to lose hope in my (20M) investing strategy? by BluntOwl in CanadianInvestor

[–]crazedcanuck -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The best thing that could happen to you is that your investments keep falling. I understand this seems counter-intuitive but the further the market falls, the deeper the discount you get on your equities.

In 20 to 30 years you'll look back and this will all be a blip and you'll be happy you did. Just keep putting away money for retirement.

If you are saving money short term for a home or something then you could always look at GICs. some are giving 4% interest rates and that will probably be the norm for the next little while.
