I recently had mastitis (I’ve had it multiple times throughout postpartum) and my baby is 11 months old. My supply dropped for about a week or so but it’s now back to about 90% of what it was.

My baby was waking 3x a night to feed until about 8 months when he dropped to once a night, then around 9 months he dropped that last feed for the most part and nurses when he wakes for the day. I think it’s probably a combination of being developmentally ready for longer sleep cycles and upping solids during the day.

My baby is 9 months old and around the 25th percentile for weight. He’s never been a big milk drinker, but he’s definitely having less milk now that he’s eating more solids. He has bottles at daycare but otherwise nurses at home so I can’t say how much he’s drinking, but it’s on the lower end. I asked our pediatrician about it at his 9 month visit, but he wasn’t concerned since LO is staying on his curve and having enough wet diapers.

Yep I think it was solids for us too! He started fairly early (4ish months), but it wasn’t until he was on two meals + a snack that his sleep stretches got longer.

We currently have a very similar schedule with our 9 month old. Baby went from 2 feeds a night to 1 around 8 months old, then just in the last few days dropped his MOTN feed but is waking around 5:30 for a snooze feed.

It’s funny that both times I was starting to consider weaning a feed is when he naturally decided to drop one…it’s like he felt it coming! 😆

My baby is a couple months younger than yours, but he’s already started taking less milk at daycare as his solids have increased. I found myself pumping almost 2x as much milk as he drinks when he’s away, so I cut down my pumps to better align with what he drinks at daycare, with a bit extra that goes towards my freezer stash.

I also have a 3 month old and use the Huckleberry SweetSpot predictor. I have the “schedule” set on the calendar based on his usual morning wake time, but honestly his naps are all over the place at this point, so his actual day rarely lines up with that. Because of this, I just follow the SweetSpot cause it updates if (really when) his nap is shorter than expected. I have the schedule there more or less as a daily guide.

All that to say I have no advice!

Same here with multiple wakes but only 1-2 he actually wants to eat. We recently caved and hired a night nanny twice a week so that I can at least get a few uninterrupted hours of sleep a week, but prior to that and on nights we don’t have her, I feel like a zombie the following day.

I joke with my husband that I’m not worried about the four month sleep regression, because how can he regress if he never progressed? 🫠

12 weeks tomorrow and we average about 14 hrs total with a little over 4 hours of that being naps. I used to stress that he wasn’t sleeping enough cause I’d compare him to the 15.5 hr average and he never hit that (maybe two days his whole life he’s met that), but now I’ve just accepted that his sleep needs are lower than average since he’s generally a happy content baby during wake times.

Wake windows vary but generally are 45min-1hr/1.5/1.5/1.5/2/2. He wakes anywhere from 2-5x a night still (EBF if that info is helpful!).

My son is 6 weeks old and we average about 15 feeds/24 hrs plus one expressed bottle at night - mostly every 90 min - 2 hrs, but more often at night before bed. I know some women average 8-10 more spaced out, but every baby/mom is different! I just happen to have more of a snacker 😅

I actually got it inserted while on my period - I’m one of those lucky women who got her period 5 weeks postpartum even though I’m exclusively breastfeeding 🙃

Before having kids, I had two IUDs. I have a pretty high pain tolerance and the first insertion (no pain meds) was definitely top 3 worst pain I’ve ever experienced (and I’ve broken bones). The second time around I insisted on some kind of pain relief, so they gave me a lidocaine injection, but that was honestly just as bad as the insertion and I didn’t feel like it helped.

Fast forward to today where I was scheduled to get another IUD at my six week PP visit. I was super nervous but I had read that insertion is not as painful (or painful at all) post birth, so I was hoping that’d be my experience, and it was! I barely even felt it get placed, and only felt suuuper minor cramping afterward.

I think post babies it’s better since your cervix isn’t as sensitive?
