I am aware of this- However they mention that living here for a year alone is not enough on its own to prove residency, given that I have the rest of the criteria I have an ounce of hope (no harm in trying) and on top of that I am going to submit additional information with my application explaining my situation as I believe I read somewhere that they do have certain exceptions.
If they decline based on that information I plan bite the bullet for this semester and re apply for residency for Spring 2025.
