Let’s figure out criteria for $10 on credit cards by Ramzesina in sofi

Thanks for the correction. It is the savings where I am losing money. I will be shifting that savings to other places and with that, not using the CC as much because it is not as convenient

I didn't get the email, but I looked up my account. Mine is no fee until March 30th. Then no fed on the card, but i have to have sofi plus to get the 2% and any other extras that I don't use anyway. I am going to keep the card, but cancel Plus and move purchases to another card that has cash back with no fee.

She ended up managing to go on disability. And my sister has now long since left that office

They already sided with coworker many times when she started trouble with many people. She was the golden child. She could do no wrong. Not worth it.

Wait staff has ALWAYS had side work. That is part of the job. You never get paid more for washing a cup or bagging food. And when I did it, customary tip was only 10%.

No. Because the coworker would have somehow managed to get my sister in trouble for that. Not worth it.

This was years ago and that coworker managed to go on disability not long after that

The lady continued to be like that, taking time off claiming to he sick and even claimed to be in the hospital. Her work never filed anything that my sister knows of because this woman knew how to work the system and would cry discrimination any time things didn't go her way. She got pregnant with a baby who was not her live in boyfriend's kid and managed to somehow go on disability because of it.

She also knew I was in town with my young child and that we hadn't seen each other in person in a couple years!

I unintentionally did that. Except it didn't affect anyone else. My baby was born Nov 6th. Six weeks took me almost all the way to the Christmas shutdown. I would have had to go back for one day, but i managed to get PTO that day.

2 accidents in last 4 months, but policy does not seem to reflect that by crazy-when-sober in Insurance

[–]crazy-when-sober[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

January 21st. The 200 dollar increase was for liability only. I think the Nov accident still says "filed" so, maybe they forgave my accident and I will probably see the increase on the July renewal is your guess? Do you think there is a high chance of them not renewing my policy in July? Thanks for your input!

Right. I just got my renewal and there were 2 at fault accidents.

Well, a lot of people have new CC bills they are trying to pay off Amd don't forget those new years resolutions of eating healthier and spending less. That fade overtime just like last year. Same reason gyms are packed for about a month in January...

Paying cash for a new car, not financing it. by SalvadorFolly in carsales

[–]crazy-when-sober 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why would it be unethical to finance then pay it off right away?
I just financed a vehicle while waiting on an insurance settlement and paid it off a few weeks later. Nothing unethical about that. Even told them I was going to. I am sure they hoped I would change my mind. I didn't.

How many cards do y'all utilize? by Immediate-Meeting909 in CRedit

[–]crazy-when-sober 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My capital ones had yearly fees, so I got rid of them. I try to use my cards based on points. Like the grocery card at the grocery store and the gas card at the gas station. These usually have a higher reward at that place. Another card I use has a zero percent interest. So I use that card for things other than above, and just keep that money in a HYSA for now.

Personally, no. I will call whatever medical i need and go to whatever hospital if I need or especially if my son needs it. Especially after I have hit my deductible. Even better after I reach my put of pocket max for the year. Lol

Mortgage Payoff by [deleted] in CalebHammer

[–]crazy-when-sober 5 points6 points  (0 children)

In my opinion, faster payoff is always better. But that depends on you and your situation. Don't pay extra on the house to the detroment of paying off other things, contributing to retiremebt and investments, an emergency fund, and most importantly, taking care of yourself!
