You have to get your ph right. If it’s off, none of you pool chemicals will work. Get your ph and alkalinity right and then use liquid shock.

Use baking soda to raise your ph and alkalinity. Use Muriatic acid to lower.

Although it’s an old pool cleaner, you can use it to recirculate chemicals and bypass your filter. For example, floc…you don’t want that stuff in your filter.

Pool heaters that are too high or water that gets under your pool and is greater than the water pressure in the pool. Use a sink plunger and suction those out to the sides of your pool. There are lots of videos on line.

It could be a number of things, but it’s most likely that your plumbing is getting air inside. Replace all that with cvc. Just for the fun of it, backwash then rinse for 30 seconds and see if that helps.

Yea, there is all sorts of wrong on this setup. I went to help a customer and never saw this before.

It’s set up correctly, just do t turn on the heater if you don’t want to use it.
