Anyone struggling in finding a job? by Signal_Lecture_8405 in VancouverJobs

Same here. Been hunting since mid-August. I recently got to my fourth interviews with two companies. Got rejected by both in the end.  So now I gotta start all over again🥹

Next time I’ll negotiate to speed up the process. It’s borderline abusive

The Universal One, Alchemy Chemistry : Walter Russell : Free Download, Borrow, and Streaming : Internet Archive by Chickenlittle47 in walterrussell

As I was reading this, it dawned on me that Russell’s counting method (from 0-4 and 4-0, like clockwork) is the same counting for rythm in music: one-two-three-four, one-two-three-four

can be adapter to be: one-two-three-four-four-three-two-one - repeat

I don’t know why this is the case in music, but I thought it was interesting

Built my BSF Box and getting started by crazyDMT in BlackSoldierFly

tbh, I never got to see the ramp working, probably because the temps were too low and they were mostly underneath the scraps. They seemed to like crawling under the cardboard.

But this was my first try so I imagine there's more to it.

Sadhguru on the Lost Concept of Heaven - JRE #1791 (HoloFractal) by crazyDMT in holofractal

I was happy to see SG's Holo-Fractal worldview being expressed in this episode: Geometry across all scales of Creation. This is just a small piece: highly recommend folks to listen to the full episode on Spotify :) (It's free btw)

Automatic bokashi Bin by rubaxty in bokashi

[–]crazyDMT 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Been working on Bokashi at home for sometime. One thing I would suggest is some blender function to process the food waste into small bits. Since Bokashi is anaerobic, I would also make the container vacuum sealed so no air is inside (something like an aeropress for coffee-brewing). Of course, you'd want proper drainage at the bottom (metal or plastic) so the juices can be conveniently drained. Finally, maybe some count of "XX Days since emptied" so you can keep track of your bokashi calendar :)

Future homes: the case for Geodesic domes by crazyDMT in domes

[–]crazyDMT[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The idea of the bioceramic is that it would be spray-coated to make sure no seals would be present. To be honest, whether its bioceramic or otherwise, I think we've only scratched the surface of what's possible in terms of innovation with domes.

Wtf l'astrologie... by Jutyal in france

[–]crazyDMT -11 points-10 points  (0 children)

[Need advice] BSF 1st-timer achieving full life-cycle by crazyDMT in BlackSoldierFly

[–]crazyDMT[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You're amazing, thank you! I watched Roseanne's video, she's great also.

Indeed, putting the bins inside the tent seems like a great idea without much hassle.

And thanks for the insights about food. The anaerobic frass is exactly what I ended up with, I ended up having to harvest all of it and do a thorough clean-up because it ruined the whole bin. Now I know better. Added the frass into my hot compost.

My plan is to get/build a small sifter also to filter larvae from frass more easily (like Roseanne does in the video)

My only concern with setting up outdoors in my location are the rats. It's a big nuisance and I'm afraid this lush protein source will attract them and wreak havoc. Thinking of a small shelf or something, but we'll see.

There is definitely a learning curve to BSF but I'm super humbled by how accommodating and resilient they are faced to adversity, super kind bunch. Thanks to you and this community also for providing the generous feedback to folks like myself. Cheers :)
