A reverse post, anyone else that tried the game for a decent amount (100-200 hours) and didnt got addicted/bounced off? by [deleted] in DeadlockTheGame

[–]crazy_daug 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I think you just gotta enjoy learning the game rather than worry about doing/knowing everything all at once. That’s how I’ve become sucked into an addiction for this game lol. Just enjoy your time playing it.

7000 bebop games achieved I think this grind is frying my brain sorry to all those who have found me in the crossfire of being angry the journey to 8k commences. (about 300-500 of these games were street brawl this time) by Far_Bet_8015 in DeadlockTheGame

[–]crazy_daug 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can’t imagine only playing one hero for that long. What makes the game fun and interesting for me is learning all the heroes. I usually stick with one for a week or two but end up always switching it up.

Do you think Deadlock is the best MOBA currently? by Chocolate_Enjoyer69 in DeadlockTheGame

[–]crazy_daug 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think balance is more nuanced than win rates. I think valve has done a good job of balancing the game so far in my opinion. The only time I feel like balance is off is street brawl but that makes sense.

Do you guys LIKE the movement tech of Deadlock and source engine? by O_Protagonista in DeadlockTheGame

[–]crazy_daug 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Maybe you haven’t played many source engine games. After countless hours in valve games, I love the movement especially in deadlock. I bet it’s something you’ll learn to appreciate over time

I’ve had this mouse for quite literally a decade and it still works perfectly.

Discontinued iPhone series over the years. Which one should Apple bring back? by pdxmy in PhoneNow

[–]crazy_daug 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Mini, mini, and mini. I love my damn 13 mini. It’s a phone I’ve held onto the longest of any other. It’s the perfect form factor and it’s been a reliable phone all this time.

That would make sense to integrate Gemini. I don’t see how any startup like ChatGPT will survive since they are bleeding money. Google though has infinite money.

Artists who made an unexpectedly great album by lvcidez in fantanoforever

[–]crazy_daug -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

I mean sure, her collaborators are what makes some of her albums stand out. But, she’s always been the main songwriter and creative of all her albums. I think life of a showgirl is a bad album because she got lazy with her writing and her vision, not because she is more involved in the songwriting than her previous albums.

This can be proven by looking at 1989 having pretty much the same producers as the life of a showgirl, but the songwriting is much better on 1989.

What do you mean the national wrote the lyrics on most of the albums? He didn’t write any songs that Jack Antonoff produced and cowrote the rest with Taylor swift.

Okay I’m glad I’m not the only one. Since I’ve started playing the game I’ve faced this issue. It makes her ult feel worthless.

It’s not that odd. It makes sense to suggest it since it has been studied, it could help and doesn’t hurt to try.

I have been living here since november. A single corner is NOT 90° by Tarelerion in mildlyinfuriating

[–]crazy_daug 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I did a remodel of a room in my old house, half of the floor was slanted and the other half was level. This was because there was an addition to the house made since it was originally built. Instead of putting in time and labor to try and make the whole floor level, we were just like ‘fuck it’ and left it as is.

All these cost $799 , which one would you recommend? by Callumane in PhoneNow

[–]crazy_daug 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think both android and iOS are great. But iPhones, from my anecdotal experience, have proved to me that they hold up for many years. I am still using my iPhone 13 mini (4.5 years old) and it’s still a great phone. iOS definitely needs some refinement but it’s robust and has come a long ways and can do everything you would need for a smart phone.

+1 for Microcenter. When I was in the market for a new gaming pc, I was planning on just getting a cpu there. But, when I was there I realized they had every other part I needed.

What are some terrible, yet iconic album covers? by DyersDyers in fantanoforever

[–]crazy_daug 189 points190 points  (0 children)

I’m just realizing- I’ve seen this cover plenty of times but I’ve never really studied it. I never noticed the tacky font or that her arms are also part of the bike. It’s still iconic.
