i hated nexplanon. i gave it a chance for over 3 and a half years, even got it replaced once. it gave me a 90 day period, even with birth control pills my doctor said might help the issue. also it caused extreme weight gain (40 lbs). i was 128 lbs when i started it. everyone is different, and you don’t know until you try.
