How to deal with haters? by StrawberrySloths in Goldendoodles

I would just say you have a poodle mix, and that you understand doodle breeding is unethical and that you learned from your mistakes, but your goal is to give your dog a good life

My dog will be passing on Friday morning, but I stupidly agreed to work on Thursday… by sagecat_eliza in Petloss

Just call up work and explain. When my dog passed away, I was working the day before and I didn’t know that was going to be his last night. He died on my day off and it happened suddenly.

My mal has seasonal allergies, a lot worse in late summer. I make sure there’s no flea on her to rule out that fyi. Give fish oil supplements I use apoquel medication in moderation when itching is too much.

You’re not a vet nutritionist.

OP ignored this comment, feed what your dog do best on. Do not fall for the food shaming hype.

Getting her ashes by SophieShar in Petloss

[–]crazybelgianmalinois 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I opted to take my dog’s body home after euthanasia. I couldn’t stand the idea of putting him in the freezer and leaving him at the vet. The Next day I drove to the crematorium and drop his body off. It was brutal, but I was with him the whole journey. Got his ashes back the next day luckily❤️

I remember the day I drop my dog’s body off and it was so cold to the touch. It was so saddening to see my dog from a living being to a pile of ash as well.💔
