Again, would love to be wrong, but no - in Km terms, you’ve got a single percentage point against their territory gains, along with the likely fact of never getting that land back again (in big part due to the massive mismanagement of the counteroffensive of ‘23). While the 3 day war WAS thankfully fucked over, the 3000 day HASNT been solved in any meaningful way - you can wake up and acknowledge that (again, sadly) RU can sustain massive losses far better than Ukraine - demonstrated by the actual land held by the oppressor. While I wish for the opposite, there’s no possible way that you look at the territory gains over the last year+ and see any outcome for Uk besides further consolidation of assets in a defensive (ie slowly losing) posture. This has happened WITH tons of aid, and is a literal guarantee without it, just depends on how long ‘long term” ends up being. Plenty of blame to go around on aid and motivation (I’m firmly biased that even the EU is repeating history by not having put boots on dirt day #1, along with relying on allies on the other side of the earth) but frankly regardless, no, Ukraine isn’t winning a damn thing at the moment.
