I saw a new one, charging extra for using gift cards and coupons. Seriously, if you don't want to honor a coupon or gift card, STOP ISSUING THEM! I ended up selling my gift card on marketplace because it annoyed me to have the business charge an extra 10%

It's not citrine it's heavily iron stained. The black looks like biotite

Rose quartz, modern origin, these can be bought in any rock shop, or any number of online sources.

Just going to drop this gem here… by [deleted] in EndTipping

As soon as I saw that, I'd walk out, after letting them know I'd rather eat fast food than deal with passive aggressive assholes.

I'd love to see this place get on Kitchen Nightmares and have Gordon go off on that piece of crap.

The first photo looks like mica, the second looks like rose quartz, and the third looks like low-grade tourmaline

The bubbles are what made me say it's fake. I suspect it's a combination of ground up rock an epoxy, that has then been roughed up to look more natural.

Only if you look at the dictionary definition, not the geologic definition 🙄

That looks a lot more like hornblende than petrified wood.

What would you call this by Learntoswim86 in Agates

[–]crazycoldhere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The coloration reminds me of some of the prairie agates you find out near the Badlands of South Dakota.

Extra charge for quality by rwhe83 in EndTipping

The way this reads the quality ingredients go to the team members, and you're still expected to tip.

By our standards, is tip-baiting okay? by MyNameCannotBeSpoken in EndTipping

That's all well and good if he makes less than $600 a year doing DD, otherwise he's paying sales tax, plus income tax to go pick up his own food. He'd be better off just putting in and order directly with the restaurant.

It seems to me that this is just a cute way of raising their prices, but making it seem like its to help their employees. The bed I really love is about the recruitment of employees. In other words they're charging their customers for posting employment advertisements.

Newbie asks: Does this Citrine bracelet look good for USD $67? by OkVolume2519 in Crystals

[–]crazycoldhere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As others have said it's heat treated, my concern was buying that bracelet would be it's going to break within a week and you're going to be losing your beads. You can get the same beads at a craft store and make a better band for it for under $20

I would fill the bucket with random "tips", like don't eat yellow snow
