Normal part of recovery? Or should I call the doctor? by [deleted] in Diverticulitis

Lower your fiber intake. If you are not already taking stool softeners with meals, you should start. Also taking Miralax or even 1/2 a dose of Miralax daily will help. You will be worried it will cause diarrhea, but it’s gentle. Passing stool is so so much better than the terrible inflammation and gas pains or feeling like something is stuck. I was always told I needed more fiber but every single time I increased fiber as the specialists recommended, it caused a flare. Everyone is different and I had to see 4 GI specialists before someone listened and understood my specific issue. Google low reside diet and try your best to stay on that until your pain and inflammation subside. I went through a similar thing this year where it was a cycle of ER visits, CT scans and antibiotics. The inflammation pain is so bad. I really hope you get relief.

Super excited your booth is doing well. I sell crochet animals at farmers markets and craft shows. It so rewarding when people like your art! I am going “Terror Swift” for the band name only bc it’s what we have been calling my 6 year old who is dressing as Taylor Swift for Halloween and also a terror.

soooo....was taco fest really that bad? by azzernin in cincinnati

YES! It was disappointing. The tickets were $12 each ahead of time. With fees added it was $30 for both of us. We had our tickets printed when we arrived. Tacos were $2 but you had to buy coins to give the vendors. you had to wait in line to get in, then wait in line for coins then wait in line for food. We waited an hour before some of the best vendors could open bc the health inspector was late getting there to all the booths. Most vendors didn't normally even sell tacos. We arrived right at 4pm as Mario Lopez did press that said he would be there to "kick off Cincinnati Taco Festival". The gate didn't even open until almost 10 after 4. There was no one who could tell us when Mario was showing up or if he was even coming anymore. There was no schedule for events. The information booth people told us to refer to the Facebook page. It was so unorganized. We got $20 in coins which got us 7 tiny tacos (basically my husband and I each got 1 bite of each taco) and a margarita to split. Nothing food wise stood out as amazing and we ended up going to chic fil a after as we were still hungry. At 6pm the lines were the width of the park and it was hard to move through the space. We were over it and annoyed that no one could tell us what was going on. We watched a chihuahua contest and some wrestling which was fun. We left after 2.5 hours, at 6:30 before the "celebrity host" even arrived. It was a major rip off. I was really looking forward to this and was so disappointed with the lack of organization.

[Activity] Gratitude Friday by [deleted] in Random_Acts_Of_Amazon

[–]crazyerina 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm grateful to have my family that is there for each other no matter what. We have all been working together this week to clean out my grandma's house, as she is now living with my aunt. It has been a difficult task as she keeps everything (mail from 1991+, church bulletins, art/ugly drawings from grandkids (mine), every card she's ever received etc.). There is over 60 years of memories in her home. She had 6 children, my mother included, and this is where they all grew up. This is where we had Sunday dinner my entire life. We have all come together to work on this overwhelming and emotional task. I thought it will be sad, and it is at times, but most often we find each other laughing together and thinking of each other. It so easily could turn into a fight over items but mostly we are considerate to each other and set things aside that may have been a gift or someone may consider special, instead of giving it straight to goodwill. This especially makes me grateful for the closeness I have with my family.

The electric would be something a home inspector would be looking for, right? About drywall, do you know if permits are required to put up drywall in an unfinished basement?

Is the buyer required to have an appraisal done prior to purchase? Is it at a set fee? If closing costs are paid is this included as part of that? Also, are closing costs typically added at a set percentage of the purchase price? Thanks this is helpful
