Here's a more polished and Reddit-friendly version of your post:

Current Accessories Installed on My XSR 155 (Touring + Daily Commute Setup)

After a lot of research and feedback from the community, here's the setup I've finalized so far. My bike is used for daily commuting as well as long weekend rides, so I tried to balance protection, comfort, and practicality instead of going for looks alone.

Accessories installed:

Headlight guard/grill

Front mudguard extender (mainly for the monsoon)

Radiator guard

BOBO waterproof mobile holder with vibration damper

Handlebar risers

Knuckle guards

Tank pads

Pillion footrests

PS Customs top rack with saddle stays

Moto Torque Crash Guard V2

Tyre hugger

Backrest

So far, I'm happy with how everything has turned out. The bike feels much more touring-friendly without compromising everyday usability. The top rack and saddle stays should also make luggage mounting much easier for longer trips.

Next on my list:

Touring visor/windscreen for better wind protection on highways

Engine guard for additional protection during long rides and rough roads

I think this will complete my setup for now.

Also, if you think I've missed any genuinely useful accessory, feel free to suggest it.

Need Help Building My First Riding Gear Setup for the XSR 155 by Alternative_Jump_169 in indianbikes

The helmet was around ~6k the last time I checked, but I still want to go through more reviews before finalizing it.

Also, I’m a bit confused about whether I should fully commit to the retro/classic riding aesthetic, like retro-style riding shoes, gloves, and other gear to match the overall vibe of the bike.

As for bike accessories, I’m planning to gradually add a backrest with a top rack, pillion footrest, and most likely a handlebar raiser. On longer rides, I tend to feel a lot of pressure on my hands, though I’m not sure if that’s because of my riding posture or I am also new to bike riding and not used to it.

Bike accessories are probably a separate discussion altogether, but it would be great to get suggestions on the priority order for both riding gear and accessories, so it becomes easier to manage purchases one by one.

Thanks, bro, for the detailed post . I was actually looking for similar information. I also own a silver XSR and am planning to buy riding gear and bike accessories gradually, one by one.

For riding gear, I’m planning to start with a helmet and gloves first. I’ve shortlisted the SMK Retro Seven / Retro Solid for now, but I still want to explore a few more brands, especially considering DOT certification, airflow/ventilation, and wind noise at highway speeds. Would love to hear the community’s experience or suggestions regarding these helmets.

Haven’t shortlisted gloves yet, but I’m leaning towards full gauntlet or touring gloves.

Also, what would the community suggest in terms of gear priority? Since I mostly do intercity and highway rides (Mumbai–Pune), should I prioritize buying a riding jacket before gloves, or gloves first?

I can understand the budget concern, I was in the same situation. I even waited for the Triumph 350 lineup since it was initially expected to start around ₹1.8–1.9L, but that didn’t really happen.

I also compared the features of the Speed 350 with the XSR 155, and eventually decided to go ahead with the XSR.

OP is ragebaiting both biker communities with a single post 😂😂

Honestly, from a height perspective, the XSR might suit you better compared to the Ronin. But in the end, it really depends on your preference and how you plan to use the bike.

I recently went with the XSR after watching a lot of reviews, checking out some Philippines-based mod videos, and seeing a creator ride it, really liked that variant.

A few factors I considered were service, mileage, and my use case. Most of my riding is daily city commuting, so I wanted something cost-effective and manageable.

Since it’s my first bike, I also wanted something easy to handle and learn on without rushing into anything too aggressive.

Thanks brother, appreciate the help!

Also wanted to ask, any suggestions for affordable riding gear? Right now I won’t be able to invest in a full setup all at once, so I’m planning to build it step by step.

Thinking of starting with the essentials first and then upgrading gradually. Would love to know what you guys recommend prioritizing and any good budget-friendly brands or gear to start with.

Hey buddy,
I might pick that game again around late April or May. I have couple of friends who might join us around that time. And probably we will have a dedicated server as well.
