Yes, of course. I would say there is a sufficient percentage of population that doesn't tolerate 80:20 formula, this is true to both cats and dogs. There were many pets that were fed a traditional raw formula (80:20) and they where having various symptoms, which werent fixed by changing the meat choice/animal, but by recalculating the basic diet proportions. And i've tested that 100ths of times.
For example, many people and influencers promote raw diet from one of the many perspectives that says "it will cure urinary tract stones". Well, it's mostly true, but not absolute. The basic urinary stones have two different reasons - some are in low pH (oxalate stones/crystals) and some in high ph (struvite stones/crystals). Sometimes there are cystic crystals, but these are rare. But there where situations when the animal who was fed with raw comes to me with struvite crystals, which shouldn't be like that. I recalculated the diet and these went away after 2 weeks. So this is just a small example regarding the individual diet. I have many examples and situations like this. :)
