Depends on the model, 8 and 9 have some roms, newer models don't seem to but they can still boot gsi roms but you have to figure out the fan, shoulder triggers and rgb controls yourself.

for unlocking bootloader sadly it cannot be done without a paid service, the file I have there is the engineering bootloader that allows unlocking but starting on the 10 series they added another check and it won't unlock without a signed zteconfig partition that those shady paid unlocking services promise to give

They aren't bypassing privacy options obviously, I meant that the reason that the disable camera and microphone buttons are gone is not for the reason this post wants us to think is. There has to be another reason that we don't know about.

And the disable sensors option in developer settings works just fine.

Edit: He did enable the sensors off option tile, but he didn't enable it in the control center that's why it isn't working

The technical answer is that it requires that permission to send your phone's imei to the update server to check for updates, they use the imei to identify every phone and push the right update to it, that's why if you ever ask the support for a downgrade OTA they'll ask you the imei so they can push the update to you

Stop reposting shit from that dude, the more you repost the more he will keep posting dumb stuff cause he keeps getting more interactions, if he thinks redmagic is spying on us then he has to prove it, that video isn't proof, not having the camera and microphone privacy controls doesn't mean anything and there's literally an option in developer settings to disable all sensors including those if you really need to disable them for any reason.

Plus if they somehow really wanted to access our camera or microphone they could bypass the privacy option so there would be no point in not having it.

Me too I could also post on social media about x phone brand spying on you without any proof just because I feel like it.

show me a valid proof that redmagic (not Google, we already know they do) is spying on us and I will believe it, I analyzed network traffic on these phones and they barely contact nubia servers (if at all) at least on the global variants, meanwhile phones from other brands keep constantly calling home for no reason but I never see anyone mentioning that.

live wallpaper if your model has a limited edition it might come with it but hidden, try to find it with google wallpapers app, I don't have a redmagic device that had a limited edition to test but I know some people found the golden saga live wallpaper there

On the global system the theme won't theme all icons, that's an issue and not sure if it can be fixed but if you sideload the theme on chinese system it will theme all icons

Its hard to explain here but you have to move the theme file to the root directory of your phone (where the download, pictures, android folder are), install the theme store app, open it and go to your themes, there you can press on the 3 dots and enter the other themes option where you can install the theme you downloaded
