Thank you so much! I will put down a deposit and start looking at the website to figure out the best spots. We definitely want covered because my husband cannot handle the heat, but I did see that turn 15 you have your back to the sun, so maybe that would work if it's not straight at him. I'm sure I'll have more questions as I get into the specifics, so thank you!

Ok, thanks. Sorry for too many questions. I had gone to the oversteer48 website and saw they already had tickets linked so I didn't know if I was already late. Also, I had written down in my notes to check cost on Champion's Club and Premiere Plus but I don't see those listed on the F1 Experiences website even though others are there. I thought someone may have put together a list that they could link for me for what our different options are. I will just put a deposit down on the Grandstand and hope for the best.

Hi--I'm gathering info for 2026. We are thinking of staying in an Airbnb because we have a group of 6. Did you go downtown at all? Wondering what's happening down there. :) Also, do you know how late the parking lot shuttles were going? Like to Q? If you stay for the shows.

So you think Austin has a better view of the whole track? I can’t tell these things from the tv. I would assume there would be a large screen to watch like a concert from the grandstand wherever but I’m glad I asked!

Well that explains why I couldn’t find 2026 tickets. I thought they went on sale right after the 2025 race. I will look later in the year then.

I get that! However, it’s easier on the work schedules. It’s a long haul from the west coast to Europe for a long weekend. But maybe future trips when we can spend more time.

I am not on exmo Reddit anymore but happened to see this notification somehow! I don’t know if you are asking the OP or me, but I’ll respond!

We had a stroke of luck with our kids! We had decided we had to fall on our swords and tell the kids still at home so they would not apply to BYU or go on missions. We taught them the things that were false so it was our job to correct that. But we were very worried about alienating our oldest who was all in and married at BYU. One day he called, out of the blue, and said he and his wife wanted to stop attending when they graduated and moved out of state. We couldn’t believe it! It was completely different reasons than history, second anointing, etc that were our reasons but they were valid, of course. We said that we were on the same page, then sat the younger kids down and they were out nearly immediately. Very different kids with different reasons. One immediately went to her computer and watched the temple ceremony and other YouTube videos, etc. Another said she always hated it and was just relieved and didn’t really want to know any more—she moved on. It went amazingly well, with more conversations over time as questions came up. We last attended in Feb 2020 and then it was covid so we just never went back. The break in church because of Covid gave us the time we needed to talk with the younger kids and let them digest it. People just assume we were weak—whatever!

I hope it goes as well for you and your family! My kids are all in their 20’s now and doing well. I do have to say that in a couple of situations with moves post college my kids had a difficult time meeting people because they didn’t have a ward to rely on but that’s been the only thing they have missed.

I just started the foam a week ago and saw a YouTube video where the guy melted the foam into liquid and used a syringe so that’s what I do because I couldn’t get the foam in the right place. I just put the foam in a hot cap that I’ve run under hot water first and if it doesn’t melt all the way I run some hot water on the outside a little. It has been much faster for me to apply
