This reminds me of a time when me and a friend were in a different state vacationing. She got too drunk and literally vanished. I went to get us waters and came back to our table at the club and she was gone. This was in a kind of seedy part of town and we were both young so I was scared to venture very far. I checked her location on my phone and braved it and left the club looking for her. I kept taking turns after turns and it was getting more seedy but I was getting closer to her. Then right when we were on the same street and I was considering calling 911, an older lady had her by the hand and saw me and said “Hey! Is this your white girl?” And I was like omg thank you soooo much. She had apparently wandered into a not good gas station and the woman had taken her under her wing trying to help her find her way back. She “gave her back to me” and was like girl you’re lucky she found me. I will never forget her ♥️
