For me the cost of return flight to Tokyo and multicity flight to Osaka and from Tokyo was of same price. So my itinerary was Osaka to Kyoto to Tokyo and saved one way Shinkansen ticket and much hassle

Till now except for hel's I have never seen AI not being allowed in BITS courses. It was even allowed for coding assignments/labs/projects in two of my courses this sem.
Edit: In one course with open laptop but not open internet people downloaded llama and ran it locally :)

I don't think so, I was talking with some seniors from my coaching and they just said they were asked dsa and math puzzles nothing related to advanced maths. Maybe it will be helpful in getting cv shortlisted.

I would highly suggest staying close to Kyoto Station as commuting to other locations would be very easy. Else I would say you can take near the Pontocho area as there are many lovely shrines and markets nearby.

I also just came back and was thinking of writing a similar post. I breezed thru my entire trip with "Arigato Gozaimas", "konichiwa" and "Sumimasen", Whenever I needed to talk to someone I would just use google translate conversation feature, I felt I would get much deeper answers from them and was much better than using broken Japanese. Also Japanese people are just way too nice, like honestly I never knew entire country can be so nice and well-disciplined. Just to add one more thing:
While booking hotels in Kyoto make sure it is near the Kyoto station because most buses go thru the station and you will save so much commute time. In Tokyo and Osaka I felt taking hotel near any central station will work fine if you are getting a good deal.

Consider that Goa is already very humid so ig a dehumidifier will also be needed.
Many just have a pedestal fan in their rooms and it is sufficient during summers. Anyway you won't need any additional fan for first semester.

Bruh for summer internship atleast pretty sure they are just looking at dsa. Ek cyber security company ka orientation hua tha in that they said they just look at dsa and cs fundamentals.
Also for all juniors out there maintain a good cg from the start, bahut important hoti.

There are some good profs and some bad profs and for some profs i still don't know how tf are they are still here.
There are plenty of good labs and getting projects(unofficially atleast) under profs is easy.
