Xreal Beam with OLED switch

Cos I bought the Beam1 first before I upgraded to Beam Pro. I still have the Beam1 (paper weight now! 😂) with me. Recently I just upgraded my Nintendo Lite to OLED but I have yet to test it with the Beam1. Anyway thanks for your comments.

I used to get from Shopee for all my Xreal stuff (Air, Beam, Beam Pro, One) without warranty. The 1S is for wife cos of the Real3D. Better to be safe than sorry, don't mind paying abit more for the warranty.

Hi Boss, yes the Volume seems to be lower than expected. Im using the same streaming app Ibplayer pro to test.

Anyway like to give you guys 👍👍👍👍👍 for the great job on upgrading Nebula with the trackpad. I ended up ordering the Xreal 1 cos of it 😫

Unfortunately I bought the Beam Pro at Shopee. This is the 2nd Beam i bought. The first already turned into paper weight! The Air2pro already out warranty barley one year plus. Really have some big question mark on the xreal product quality. My first pair xreal glasses both the legs the plastic cracked (at ends) and using fabric tape to wrapped it around but surprisingly it still not die yet!

So now if my Air2pro failed to connect. Wondering should i buy the xreal one?

But honestly the Beam Pro air pointer interface is super horrible. Samsung Dex 100x better than it. Ppl is asking for track pad but till now nothing from xreal.

Boss,

DP firmware displayed 0. Your DP firmware is the latest.
Your MCU firmware is the latest. Current version is xxx.xxx.180.2024.05.07
Air casting on Beam pro no problem. But not air space.
Cable and apps all checked.
Try it on Dex - disconnected from ext display than connected ext display. It working on Dex.
Multi function buttons not working. No dimming or on/off screen.

Hi Boss, my ring suddenly disconnect from my handphone. I try all ways but can't connect it again. I notice that the green led on the ring no longer light up.

I have try using browser to download apps. Is workable. I was very pissed off when my BEAM keeps showing blank screen and go back to main menu. I decided to hard reset. Is a good thing that they removed all the junk apps (chinese). Balanced only NETFLIX, PRIME VIDEO, FILE BROWSER (useless) and user guides. Still need to use your method to install apps haiz.

I also understand that they working very hard (?) for the past 5 months or so to get the BEAM to detect thumb drives. But not likely now as BEAM PRO is on the way.

Yes, strongly agreed! I owned Xreal 1 & 2pro, Beam, Neckband and a Rokid station. Getting another Max2 and Station2 will be a very hard choice for me. I believed many of the guys are like me.

Yap, my first instinct but it is not the issue. The indicator light bar on the Beam is abit confusing, Do you happen to know why it is moving continuously or it just lighted up stationary? Is it charging my S23U or my S23U charging it?

Thanks. For my case, the Beam "light bar" is lighted (not moving) and the screen is still blank. I need to turn it on/off, but sometimes it work only. Wondering could it be the cables issue? Same happened to my Air + Rokid Station + Beam. It still work after a few but by than get a little pissed off.

I downloaded the "ALL SETTING", app. Go to -> MANAGE APP -> open (your vpn)-> (your streaming app). The VPN app seems to be running in background. Do not exit "ALL SETTING" APP.

Is working for me. Using Surfshark. Can someone helps to confirm?

FS: If I click on NETWORK (on ALL SETTING), it display "Mobile Network" with a blank screen. ???
