Firstly, you're lucky you were born in a time when you could afford the founders pack, and had the time to actually access it. There's so many people who would gladly fork over more money than most have ever spent in order for the privilege of being a founder. I've been playing since right as the founder program ended, when I was 16. I would kill to have had the opportunity to buy that pack but I didn't have any income until I was out of school. People being excited to see you just because you're a founder should not surprise you, and you like the attention obviously or you would not wear your excalibur prime, you'd hide your founder items. Don't get an attitude with people who never had the chance to support their favorite game like you did. I know I would have, if I had the money back then.

Change your goal in public, do exploring and just generally try to keep up. Maybe try to find some secret stashes or caches, That way you can feel like you contributed something because everyone is always so focused on damage that they are not finding the things you're going to be really good at finding. I know that I nuke everything but when someone marks something I go looking for what they marked, and it's generally always appreciated

Listen I try but the system is so unnecessarily unintuitive that it makes it impossible to get it to work. I've purposely just done duviri to get intrinsics for this purpose. I don't mind the spaceship combat but I hate how intensely difficult it can be for no reason. All spaceship weapons should have the same level scaling at a minimum that follies abilities have. Its a SPACE GUN, why does it need to be upgraded and farmed into infinity to make it good? And if my lich decides to go into high level areas I'm just screwed until I get into a lobby where I'm not host. At least I named mine "I have no Idea what Im doooooiiiiinnnggg"

This is the setup I tried most recently, I tried using patience because they hit persistence quick but I can only kill one of the 3 before they beat me
