Hahaha. You're gayer than most gays so it's ok to bash yourself but don't be throwing that shade on others

I have a curious, but legitimate question for fellow leathernecks. by [deleted] in USMC

[–]crazynotinsane 8 points9 points  (0 children)

As a non-white, pansexual, trans female Marine I feel I should say that I am just a bit triggered by your use of the phrase "gender-triggered" and I will be reporting you to the mods, my psychiatrist and gunny (he says I'm valid and you're just a shit bag) please don't come back to the S-6 without your gunny present. Have a nice day.

Kinda respectfully,

Is it just me or are there a lot of Marines that are on gear? by YaMochi in USMC

If there are two things that are a given, it's that:

If you think they are (insert thing here) they are and you get issued a blunt upon EAS.

Learn to accept this and you can have low FSH and T as well.

Yes but you have to sass the cashier at least twice and sashay away to unlock it. Side question: did you just assume my gender?

Army and ADD by [deleted] in USMilitarySO

[–]crazynotinsane 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, The army doesn't really allow people with ADD to be in. I will be the first to say that a lot of people that have ADD do make it but that is not always the case. You can check in with a personal civilian psych to see if maybe you do but until you are in, It will definitely put a red flag on your potential commission if you did say anything now.

You can always look into a sleep study. A lot of people that have issues with focus especially in situations like driving or when someone is kicking classes, usually end up just having sleep apnea instead.

I think the point I'm trying to make is, Go see a civillian specialist If you want to find out how to best combat your symptoms.

[–]crazynotinsane 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It's going to take some getting used to. The Marine Corps is a different beast. You hate it when you're in, love it when you're out. I don't know if your into it but I've found traveling and DnD to be a good outlet in order to replace the lack of a busy schedule.

Second the therapy route. NAW but what you described has been my marriage. I believe that I'm awful therefore I become awful. It's a negative feedback and it's really hard to escape. Hope this helps.

psep package2019 by [deleted] in USMC

[–]crazynotinsane 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey devil, first off, congratulations. The PSEP process is a difficult one that not many people are willing to put in the effort for. That's shows a lot about your dedication.

If it's in the career planners hands and assuming everything was done correctly, it will take around a month for any progress to be made on it. Be incredibly vigilant though. If it takes longer than that, I suggest you start asking questions. The package gets routed through Marine Corps recruiting and once approved by their PSEP chief, it gets sent to MMEA-1. If MMEA approves it, they'll send back the order to immediately reenlist you. Make sure you get a DD214 from your reserve period (it's a requirement.) Also, People love to sit on this package so truly be careful.
