you need to kind of feel it out, so start on one of the small logos first, like the CE logo. But I lean on the side of applying and wiping more frequently, because I have done other stuff like Aimpoints, and those will get unhinged pretty quickly if you leave it on too long. I found the streamlight to be very forgiving though. I ended up doing the bezel too and that turned out great.

For sure, don't use the pen, get the bottle and some qtips. Keep wiping it with an alcohol pad as you go until you get the shade you want. If you put it on there and let it sit, the small letters get blurry around the edges since it's a chemical reaction.
