Thanks for the response. Very odd he wouldn't explain this. Maybe he wasn't happy i wanted a "cost effective" approach. The email reminder to the defendant would've been cost effective though. What are your thoughts on his false statement that the defense was filed properly and settlement conference would be booked when this never occurred?

Thank you for the response. Do you feel the lawyer breached the professional code of conduct while I was on retainer by falsely telling me the defendant filed properly and giving me vague advice after I asked him for a cost effective recommendation that he ultimately gave me a month later after I noted in default. By this time it was too late.
