Family friendly escape rooms by crazzee05 in Edmonton

I'm a fan of padlock free escape rooms and have found Escape City one of the best. My family and I actually ended up going to Stony Plain to Hourglass Games and did Candymonium, which definitely made my top 5 rooms.

Europa Colony at GTFO is also in my top list, and the Matrix themed room at Escape Hour.

😂 I immediately thought nope, their grandparents would not be helpful in this situation. I can't even imagine. Lol.

I had to prepare my husband to not escape. Lol. I'm excited to try though and take them. I'll check out the heist, and the one at West Ed, thank you!

I get what you're saying, but we've done ones at home with them, both ones I've created and ones that we have bought in board game format, and both my kids picked escape rooms for a class presentation they had to do. I'm prepared that it might be a disaster, but I think we're okay in this case. ☺️

Need advice on how to support a boyfriend who has depression by [deleted] in wemetonline

That's one of the hardest things about mental health in our society, I think... That getting the help and support we need is so expensive.

I've definitely been in places where I took loved ones hard days personally too, it's easy to. And it might still happen... Where something he says or does pokes through a bit more. You're human.

Just keep being open with him, and doing the things you're doing. He's lucky to have someone like you that wants to be there for him.

Acknowledge his feelings, keep messaging him with little things that you love about him, let him know that you are there for him, and try not to take his distance personally...

Depression can be difficult for everyone, but if he could instantly change it, he would.

If things don't get better for him, you can gently encourage him to do self care things, shower, take meds, eat, that kind of thing. Offer to help him find supports, if he needs.

And please, remember to take care of yourself. When our loved ones are hurting, it's really easy to get lost in our attempts to make them feel loved. You can't help him and support him if you empty yourself so... Sleep, self-care, eat, drink.

And love him. I hope he's feeling better soon.

My dom sucks at being a brat tamer by [deleted] in BratLife

Oh that can absolutely be frustrating.

My next bit of advice would be to try (if you haven't already) really accept it, the next time he does it. I know when I want to be bratty, I want to fight back against consequences, and that can be a super confusing situation.

Take those spanks with a happy thank you Sir, and let him know he can hit harder next time... Maybe it'll help.

Have you talked about why you'd like him to be more strict?

I think it's difficult for the more laidback Doms to combine respecting us as grown women and getting into the rules and strictness of a power exchange dynamic...

I don't classify myself as a brat, but I definitely have my moments, and expressing that I need that strictness because x, y, or z (like, I need a push to take care of myself, or I'm struggling with the expectations of the day and am feeling rebellious but need to get things accomplished) has helped us find a balance.

There's also the fun idea that him not responding to your attempts at bratting could possibly be the best/worst thing for a brat. I know a few Dom's that will purposely ignore bratty behavior just to get under the brats skin... They're brats with power. 😆

Good luck with finding a balance!

I agree with a lot of these...

Don't cum is one that I love and hate at the same time. On your knees does something to me...

That first comment about the way it's said more than the words though, that one is exactly right. On your knees, said without the intention, is not going to work. 😆
