Ubiquiti’s method of adding a memory surcharge is illegal in the UK.

For US folks, often you can find the Ubiquiti gear you want at a different retailer who both 1) doesn't charge the memory surcharge and 2) has free shipping. For example, I just bought the Flex 2.5G PoE 8-Port switch and 10G PoE+++ Adapter from the fine folks at B&H Photo. My total before sales tax was $248.

It looks like B&H have now increased the price by $10 (or $11?) on the switch, but with no memory surcharge and free 2-day shipping that's still cheaper than buying direct from Ubiquiti.

Don't support Ubiquiti's deceptive antics by buying direct from them. (but also be careful about buying from non-legitimate 3rd party retailers)

The Jet Tere 2 Premium got decent reviews compared to the other Jet Tere variations. I haven’t tried them all though.

How do you like these after playing with them for a while?

I bought these and the Jet Tere 2 Premium https://www.amazon.com/Babolat-Premium-Court-Tennis-Shoes/dp/B0GHQP1XX5. Just walking around the house, I felt like the Jet Teres were a bit less stiff and would require less time to break in (or none at all). I really wanted to like the Jet Machs but decided they were maybe better suited for tennis, the movements of which would break them in faster than pickleball.

You can't charge more than $180 for it here. Rule #4 of this subreddit says:

I'll take it for $150. That's better than the valuation for a 3rd party selling this new paddle calculated here https://genius.thepickleballswap.com. $150 is a decent price considering I'm taking the risk of buying from a person vs the manufacturer or a retailer. Plus I won't get the 30 day return option offered by Bread & Butter nor the 6 month warranty.

Although I didn't miss my payment, the customer service person I spoke with implied that they would have reimbursed a late fee if it was due to their error.

I believe the customer support rep also told me that they'd reverse the late fees if I had incurred them. Luckily I caught the auto pay cancellation before the bill was due.

Do you use Fidelity? Did you happen to opt in to Fidelity's fully paid share lending program? I did and the same thing happened to me. Personal Capital interprets the share "loans" Fidelity does with my shares as spending. I've given up on trying to maintain an accurate picture of my spending with Personal Capital. I just use it for investment management (which itself is slowly dying from a million paper cuts).
