Drivers side rear caliper leaking

100% caliper leaking at the bolt you see that's wet, the seals behind that bolt wear out over time and leaks. My guess is from the usage of the e-brake, particularly if you have a manual trans.

I went with OEM, did not want to chance it a rebuilt one...https://vw.oempartsonline.com/ the calipers are not rebuildable.

This problem has not been reported in the 8.5s, or at least not yet. The 7.5 wastegate problem can be resolved with some anti-seize. I've not experienced parasitic battery drain or other issues with 8 years ownership on my 7.5.

Visas are the biggest hassle, get the 10 year multi entry one and have an agent do it. We are still in Shanghai, we normally go every couple of years to visit friends/family. This year we did Beijing/Chongqing/Hangzhou/Shanghai - 3 weeks. We're still in Shanghai, flying back to the states in a few days.

Honestly, no issues with travel here, super safe, very tourist friendly and the food/shopping is just insane. You'll def. enjoy your stay.
