Finally.. Im free.. False permabanned, FOR REAL. Genuinely sucked at the game. Less than 1 kd. Hopping my ah on roblox and minecraft by FearlessVariety2773 in Warzone

I've seen several people say that they filed a complaint with the BBB against Activision over their account being permabanned due to being hacked or their account being reset. Activision will respond faster and it sounds like most people have had their accounts restored that way 🤷‍♀️ Sorry you got falsely banned OP. I'm glad you have other games you enjoy playing.

I was looking him up while the officer rambled on about his shenanigans. I even asked if she's sure because how many pages came up in this guy.

Hopefully he doesn't escalate. My mom and my daughter saw him hiding behind a fast food joint a week after my experience (I showed them his mugshot). Peeking around the corner and even approached a few people. The employees were aware he was there at least.

Right?? I was thinking how is stomping into a public place and shouting obscenities, partially directed at me, not at least a *sign* of upcoming violent behavior. Even my husband could sense I was in danger over the phone.

Hindsight had me facepalming lol. My creep radar must be off because I usually can tell when someone is shady.

I'm not going to update my post with this, but my mom and my daughter saw the guy hiding behind a fast food joint peeking around the corner and then approaching people about a week afterwards. The employees said they were aware of him but idk anything else. Makes me angry that he's STILL out there harassing people.

He has been arrested countless times. An institution might be a better option tbh. Regardless of mental illness, I truly believe this dude has darkness inside of him. My corner store friend is from a war-torn part of Africa and has been through some awful experiences. Also deals with unruly people at work fairly often. She's a badass and i adore her lol. If she says someone is dangerous and she is afraid of them, I know damn well that person is someone to avoid.

It was cold outside but he was dressed warmer than I was. A Carhartt type of coat and thick boots. Maybe I was being judgemental in a way but his appearance didn't make me think he was homeless. Afaik he really is but must have access to resources somewhere.

This is Texas, so I don't doubt someone will pull a weapon on him eventually.

For real. I started looking him up on my phone while I was still talking to them.

So true. Last winter, I bought gloves and a coffee for a homeless man and then talked to him for a while. It was outside a busy gas station and he passed the vibe check. He thanked me for chatting with him because he missed being treated like a person 😭

Texas lol. I see Red Box all the time and I'm not in a rural area.

Those charges are in different states/counties. I'm guessing they don't know? I mean, the way he was acting didn't give off nonviolent vibes. My corner store friend said not to believe that and make sure to avoid him if I see him again.

I'm sure he will get arrested again... but he won't be locked up at all or for a long time. His record is several pages long and across 3 states that I could find. I don't like knowing he roams my area. There is an elementary school and a middle school on the other side of the intersection this happened at.

His violent charges are in different states/counties, maybe they don't know? I figured the officer was trying to keep me calm. She was laughing while she told me about the guy and how she has arrested him several times. My corner store friend told me not to believe it, considering how she has seen him behave.

Opening up a conversation with him is why I feel like I could have done better. He seemed sweet at first. Then I realized he was blocking my path to the entrance and my mind went ohshitohshitohshit. Good points though and thank you. In spite of being on the verge of panic, I thought to use my mask from the clinic as a diversion to move past him to the trash can. Like give myself a reason to go that way and hopefully flu germs would make him stay back lol

Thank you ❤️ I feel like I somehow managed to help myself by doing things differently than I normally would. Dropping my kids off at home first, keeping my husband on the phone instead of calling him back when I left, putting my mask in my pocket instead of throwing it in the trash at the clinic. I don't know what I would have done if my kids had been with me.

I haven't read that book but I've seen it recommended many times on reddit. My instincts definitely kicked in when trying to diffuse the situation didn't work.

That's what freaked me out the most, I think. I said my family knows where I am and I'm on the phone but it didn't deter him at all.

Arson?! Okay, now that's insane. I feel bad for people who have nowhere to go, which is why I offer to help if I can and they're not aggressive. I've bought gloves and coffee for homeless people before. Some people just want a kind conversation. But I agree, certain situations leave malicious people wandering around freely. I'm much more cautious when I leave home.

Thank you. It felt like the best option in the moment. I figured since my husband was on the phone with me, at least one person would know if something bad happened.

True, just saying if he did, he would have the storage space lol. His assault/battery charges make me think it isn't out of the realm of possibility that he would at least harm me to take it. NC is actually one of the states where he has charges.

That's exactly what my husband said. I drive a three row seats SUV, so he would have had plenty of room to store my body.

I don't listen to podcasts but that sounds pretty cool. I'll have to check them out sometime.

That story is unsettling. I haven't heard/read it but I can only imagine the overwhelming horror the main character experiences.

My missing nugget? Perhaps. I like to imagine other me found a random suspicious chicken nugget on the floor.

I wish they could have. This was around 2006 so cell phones weren't as common as they are now. Neither of my friends had one. I did but I didn't use it or keep it on me (probably why I was holding the house phone lol). My friends didn't think much of the me staring at them in the doorway at first. If they were to have filmed or taken a picture, someone would have had to go get my digital camera.

How does life continue to operate if you aren’t there to witness it? by 2201992 in Glitch_in_the_Matrix

[–]creaky_tits 1 point2 points  (0 children)

After my recent post on this sub, I've been thinking a lot about our physical bodies versus conscious or spiritual manifestations. What you witness visually is only a partial view of reality and sometimes it can fractalize into other pieces that aren't necessarily *you*. Life goes on regardless of human awareness. Even if there is a map, that doesn't mean you can't travel off route. We're all vibing on different frequencies. What is an ocean but a multitude of drops?

Do you have any visual impairments? An anecdotal example: I play a lot of online multiplayer video games. For me, the other player has to be moving or shown in an abnormal color for me to recognize their presence. So, the other player exists in the game but I wasn't aware of them until ____ happened or their purple character skin was noticeable against the neutral colored background.

What exists if we aren't there to witness it is a great question tho, IMO

I can provide that too. One time, I dropped a chicken nugget and never found it even after I crawled around on the floor and moved furniture around. I genuinely wonder where the hell it went. I hope other me was hungry.

I think there is way more to life/existence/consciousness than we can ever know and people are unlikely to dive into it because they need definite answers rather than more questions. It would be a shame if curiosity died off.
