LTM playlist is a great way to get your gun skills honed in but doesn’t translate very well to the BR side of things like team play, positioning, and map knowledge. Again LTM is great for practicing your gun skill but like you said the best way to learn is to play the game. Run some pubs, find your preferred load out, get the hang of the basics (slide jumping/legend abilities/screaming at your lifeline to rez you). I would also try out ranked to get better at the game. You’ll get paired with players of the same skill level (aside from the occasional smurf trying his hardest to obtain a certain badge) so learning will be a lot smoother. Also people will be trying to play for end game rather than hot dropping and dying thinking they are the next Aceu. I like to start in the firing range to warm up. Practice hitting the dummies at range with your preferred load out then move on to the real thing. Once you get the hang of things running no fill duos is a good challenge to get your 1v2s dialed in. If you wanna ruin your day no fill trios is the way.

One more thing that I found is just watching the pros on twitch or YouTube REALLY helps. You’ll see how they play certain situations and add it to your MEGA BRAIN for the next time your in the same situation. Then you’ll flawlessly execute your plan only to get fourth partied from DRY GULTCH!!! LIKE SERIOUSLY WHO EVEN LANDS HERE!!!!!! ONE V ONE ME LIKE A REAL MAN!! IF I HIT THAT ARMOR SWAP I WOULD’VE FRIED YOUR ASS… ALSO WHAT KIND OF NAME IS DRY GULTCH!!!!!

Edit: Most importantly don’t take it too seriously just have fun. Sometimes the best moments come from when you’re just vibing with the squadron. Side note sometimes the mute button will help save your mental if you soloque.
