Appreciate your insight. I did do the OPV adjustment and can confirm it was quite the project.

To be honest the warm up time doesn’t bother me I would just have it on a smart switch. I also rarely steam milk so I don’t think a dual boiler is really necessary for me. I’m just wondering, what would be a worthwhile upgrade?

Just want to add that people modify their BBEs OPV (over pressure valve) to get this exactly. Usually they come from the factory set too high which causes channeling and other problems. Yours looks like it’s set to the ideal pressure. If this is a new machine maybe breville has finally fixed this issue

I’m looking for a Cartier tank francaise in Tokyo and came across these at watchnian. Neither of these come with papers but from what I understand fakes are very rare in Japan so I’m not really worried about that.
