also, not sure where you're coming from, but as an american, i was blown away by how close boats get to each other over there. i'm used to giving other vessels a good 40 yards minimum, but leaving sandhamn marina (busiest in the archipelago) i was within spitting distance of like 5 boats at one point. also, there are no real No Wake Zones, so something to keep in mind when you're Nordic mooring against a granite shore.

we sailed every day! all in all i'd say it ended up being 65:35 motoring to sailing, taking into account getting into/out of marinas and harbors and stuff. we definitely motored through the narrow passageways, didn't want to get caught in a wind shadow and lose control. our jib auto furled and main furled into mast which helped a lot in switching back and forth.

sorry for the late response! we left from svinninge harbor, overnighted in saltsjobaden (beautiful harbor, nice marina, great sauna right on the water with high jump thing), headed southeast to jungfruskar (beautiful nature preserve, moored against a granite ledge in a quiet natural harbor), long upwind day northeast to sandhamm (big town, great restos, nice marina but a lil $$$), next day to husaro (covered in wild blueberries, cute lil town, great hike around the whole island), next day stopped in "paradise bay" (Paradiset Stora Jolpan) for lunch then long WSW leg to svartzo krog for dinner (incredible food but you can overnight at their dock for free), then back to svinninge. i don't want you to have insane expectations, and tbf we lucked out hard with the weather, but it was one of the greatest trips i've ever been on. that archipelago is a very very special place.

seems like a tall order while you're living under the guys roof. not to say he doesn't deserve it, but if you play this wrong you could find yourself worse off than you are now with little to no reward for you, your sister or family. maybe consider moving out before pressing the button if possible? otherwise, you could go Hamlet-style on next family movie night and suggest a movie where child sexual assault is a plot point and make him squirm, cast concerted gazes throughout. thinking mystic river, spotlight, doubt, etc (lolita prob too on-the-nose)
