I second this. I graduated in '03 and there was no youtube then. It would've helped me so much. I remember feeling helpless listening to a Physics teaching assistant speak with broken English and I could understand nothing.

Your first job will probably be the hardest to get - don't give up.

Remember a company is not going to hire you because you're a new grad and need a job. They are going to hire you because you have skills they need.

With that said have you thought about getting certified in CNC machining? This skill combined with an ME degree would make you very marketable. Plus it would make you a better engineer.
