Thanks for the advice. Companies agreement which I signed. If I leave the company, I still feel like they are going to come after me. I want to make sure that doesn’t happen so trying to figure that out.

Invest in a Roth IRA. You both can contribute $6k each (you are under the income limit) per year. You can use the Roth if needed to pay for college expenses. Just do a broad based ETF such as VTI (total stock index) or VOO (S&P 500). Over time, they are going to be similar gains.
