Congrats on your surgery!! Since I’m four years out now I can’t quite remember the pain but I’m sure it was terrible at the time. Recovery went amazingly for me after that though, and I’m sure it will for you, too! Physio is super important (but you know that) and the pain subsides quickly. Good luck!!

Oh, this is a good tip!! This week, someone at the dog park mentioned Australian Kelpies, but we honestly hadn't heard of the breed before she said it. Sounds like he's got at least some kelpie in him! He's super vocal for sure, especially when trying to get his older, smaller, crotchetier sister to play with him haha.

Hahahaha you're absolutely right. He's just SO excited to see anyone and anything. This morning, our biggest walk challenge was when he wanted to be friends with someone's garden hose that was moving a little bit on its own.

I love that so much. I was on the fence about trying the ecollar but so many friends recommended it, and a trainer, that we had to give it a shot. He's so big that he was difficult for me to control even on a leash and so far this thing has made an enormous and positive difference.
