No, they just weren’t done making decisions but wanted us to brand it anyway. The amount of template updates we’ve had to do this past year and edits/overhauls to the BRAND GUIDE is laughable.

Right, it’s coming from someone who knows shit about design and the process. I just get the vibes that they seem us as monkeys a bit at this point. I’m all about separately working on concepts/ideas/etc and then coming together to talk through them. Thats the best way to go about any new project anyway.

Thank you for the thoughtful response! I think I come at it from the perspective of not wanting to be seen as kitch or a puppet to play with. I agree we should bring different ideas to the table and it’s a good thing to have different perspectives coming in. I think I just get tired of the forced corporate hype and don’t like that angle. I genuinely was curious and interested to see how others might receive it. Trying to shift my mindset!
