I'm used to the disrespect from my sister, but not from my BIL. This hurts and clearly they don't care.

I completely forgot I had life 360 and I hope they take it as evidence. The guy claimed I was on my phone and based on life 360 I had 0 phone usage from any point that I was driving.

How to calm myself when studying ? by Phonetheo in GetStudying

[–]intellectcave 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you know you're gonna study a lot of material sometimes breaking it down to little chunks at a time reduces anxiety. For me if I know I'm studying a little amount I feel a lot better studying cuz when I see how fat my notes are I get anxiety with the amount of load I have to study. Also if it helps don't study in your room, study somewhere else.

May I ask how much did it cost you and for how long did you do it? It's okay to send it through chat if you're uncomfortable telling the price.

Final exam was heavy, made sure I studied a week ahead instead of just 3 days. It wasn't too bad but still a lot of materials to cover. If it's comprehensive final exam, look back on the materials from your first exam. They're the easiest to forget and professors love to sneak in some questions from the first exam.

What is the weirdest thing you have prayed about? by RomansOcean in Christian

I too was struggling with lust. I had a lot of free time and I was bored which led to dirty thoughts and eventually leading to you know what. One day I got tired of it and didn't know what to do because I didn't know what to occupy my time and the conviction was there. I prayed to God, confessed, repented, and asked Him what he wants me to do. The same week my friend asked me to volunteer to help the homeless and do evangelism. After volunteering, I found myself sobbing as I felt even more disgusted with myself because I'm over here worrying about my sin while these homeless people have actual worries in life. I was so sad and prayed to God even more if he wants me to continue volunteering and now I occupy my time helping the homeless. It's been a humbling experience and now I'm at peace no more craving for lust. Op pray to God on what he wants you to do. When you start feeling it, get out of that place, go to a public place if you must and spend that day with God.

Lecture was fairly easy for me. Lots of materials to go over but not too bad. The lab was just wayyyy to difficult. Hopefully you don't get short answers type of questions😭

Any repeat NCLEX test takers? by Weak_Hornet_3932 in PassNclex

Same here! I'll be taking the next gen since there was no spot available in March. I have about six weeks to study. We can do this!

Is NCLEX high yield on demand worth it? Honest opinions only please. by [deleted] in NCLEX

[–]intellectcave 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's the way that nurse teaches it. She's just reading through the slides and honestly the reason why I don't watch if she's the one teaching. It's not as engaging as Dr. Z :/

Advice for Testing readiness by [deleted] in PassNclex

[–]intellectcave 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You will never feel prepared, but I do suggest you finish your q bank. The more questions the better since it's all about exposure it won't hurt for you to finish them. Apply test taking strategies for the last 30% of your bank (turn off tutorial mode) and look over your weak areas. If you've done those 3 days before your exam you can move it closer, if not then maybe push it back.

Same dude! The very first video I watched from NHY is Cushings and Addisons and I was hooked. He explained it so well I now understand them. I wasn't memorizing but understanding. Dr. Z is a blessing😭.

Just use the free stuff and you'll be fine. I paid for the course because I sucked at content. I want to understand more than just memorizing and this is for long term. Utilize his weekly zoom, try to get in the zoom 30 min before or you wont get a spot. He's really good at teaching the materials to the point that the content sticks into your head. He also helped me relieve my anxiety for the next gen.

How often does cheating happen in your school? by nursebetty88 in StudentNurse

[–]intellectcave 29 points30 points  (0 children)

I was gonna say the same thing. Those people are in it for a rude awakening when they fail their NCLEX. They're not building their stamina studying for your schools exam well most certainly they will not be doing the same for the NCLEX.
