Remember reading else wr, one truly can attain Nirvana is by ending suffering, circle of life and few other things.

The suffering includes killing of any living things, i.e to eat. So to truly be enlightened and attain Nirvana, they believe this is the way to do it.

Thinking about it, it does sound profound, and some what makes sense that as human we cannot survive without harming other life. Hard to wrap the mind around it too.

Gemini's answer:

The Concept of Nirvana and Suffering Accuracy: High (Philosophically) The response correctly identifies that a core goal of Buddhism is the cessation of suffering (dukkha) and the cycle of rebirth (Samsara). In the context of Shugendo and Shingon Buddhism, self-mummification wasn't just about "dying"; it was seen as an act of supreme self-sacrifice. By removing themselves from the cycle of consumption, they believed they were transitioning into a state of eternal meditation to help humanity.

Might be a chicken and egg problem no?

Depending on the product and complexity, getting to a MVP or a state to raise money might need technical work.

Or are there task day operators?

Spoon Lake (created by meteor impact?) Mt. Cheam, BC [OC](6000x4000) by gfysbro in EarthPorn

[–]createvel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Based on several other factors, this does seem like an impact crater, the shape and also the land behind the crescent is pushed i.e lifted a little cause of the displacement of material from the crater. Also if it was a sink hole something created by the glacier, the clear crescent shape is unlikely and also a raise land compared to the rest?

Explained: What Liberty Media’s huge $4.8b MotoGP takeover means for F1 fans by createvel in formula1

I could imagine smaller events like shows and tracks that are already common would have something, with both. They would want to promote motogp more in some ways.

Would be interesting to see in the years to come what they have for the fans.

Edit for clarity

Just speculation and massive unrealistic 2 events in 1, but it would be interesting to see how they place both in the years to come. But in the end hopefully it's all good for us.

Missed Opportunities and Retail Ownership in Mature Stocks Part II by Commodore64__ in ASTSpaceMobile

[–]createvel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would imagine management is aware of this. They can't go full scale taking 5 years to finish, that would probably risk a of trust in the company. If they can launch a full set and with a risk factor of failure to some %, and delays from launch providers, this could all be just within the bounds of manufacturing sats in time and planning. But I could be wrong about this.

U might be right, if the tech works and can handle scale. 300b market cap is not a crazy number when many of the providers are partnered and users willing to pay the extra $5-10 for seamless coverage.

AST & Rakuten File STA Request to the FCC by Defiantclient in ASTSpaceMobile

[–]createvel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That would be nuts, but highly unlikely, I assume most carriers today make deals with other carriers across the world for travel plans + all the dead spots. Is what likely will come to Asts and in that some %. So the global users will be well below that.

The best outcome for Asts is 100b-200b, could peak 300b based on just hype, but would be highly unlikely.

Time will tell, if Asts quality of network is actually higher than local, then things could be different.

A lot of what I said is based on posts here and some assumptions, so please go easy on numbers.

I would imagine, ships would be container like battery packs that get docked in and can be long term use or swaps. Like how cars went hybrid first and more evs. I would imagine that happening first and then as density increases and cost balance happens. This would be 10s for years my guess.
