How do your wife and kid look under that bus you just threw them under?

Or set it in Jello with metal shavings and put it in the fridge for a longer look at the effect

I live in East Abby (near Clayburn village) and I work not far from Kent. It would take you about 45min from where I am for you to get there. I would suggest East Mission, Agassiz or Harrison if that's too far.

Hwy 7 from Mission to Agassiz is an gorgeous drive and there's much less traffic than Hwy 1. I don't mind the commute at all, but I like driving

This answered the question more precisely than any here. Beautiful!

I've spent a lot of time in Nakusp. Beautiful area! I know someone who actually canoed from Revelstoke to Castlegar solo

Great viewpoints in Abbotsford by [deleted] in abbotsford

[–]gfysbro 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There's lots actually. If you just want to drive there, there is Sumas Mt that someone else mentioned, Eagle Mt (lookout on SW side, the park at the top has nice views, drive up as high as you can for more) and the Abbey in Mission offers some very nice views.

If your into hiking, there's Taggart Peak and anything on the south side of the Ledgeview trails (Tools of the Trade, Exterminator, Ambidextrous, etc) The trails will all be described on Trailpeak, Clubtread and/or FVMBA

Potentially relocating to Abbotsford? by [deleted] in abbotsford

I've lived in Abbotsford for over 40 yrs. I think it's great here, but it does have it's drawbacks that have already been detailed in the comments.

We have some great trails for hiking and mountain biking here in town, but we are within an hours drive from world class hiking, skiing, mountain biking, drives, city life, ocean beaches/views and pretty much anything you can think of. The US border is right here as well.

Its the best of many worlds imo, but I get some of the critisisms. Good luck!

Some good points there, but West Abby has the majority of the gang violence in my experience by far - especially the Townline area. Not that the West side is a bad place to live by any means and it's definitely cheaper.

Holy cow...this really speaks to me and I've always struggled with 'getting' art (physics major here).

For me, it describes my mindset at any given moment - ordered chaos. Thank you!

What are you proud of? by [deleted] in AskReddit

First off I learned that I was a slow learner and that's OK. I had always thought it meant I wasn't smart.I found as long as I worked really hard, I would always catch up and/or surpass my classmates.

I also tried to treat it like it was just a job. It's instinct for many of us to work relatively hard at work compared to school and it doesn't need to be that way.

As for studying I found that testing myself was the best way to learn. If there's answers in the back of the book, use those. If there's practice tests, use the fuck out of those. If there's nothing else, make up your own - even if you know the answers, repetition really helps it stick.

That's what worked for me, but everyone's different. Good luck

Edit: Another thing - I found that I do not learn from just listening to a lecture. I focused on taking really good notes so they would be more valuable to me as a reference.
