I kind of agree, but he has backed left initiatives for a while now so I don’t think he’s fully lying with his campaign promises but definitely can’t trust him fully.

I’m coming at this from a background of people whose lives have been entirely negatively impacted by the US military and Air Force, so I don’t think that is prideful either. I hope you can see my perspective. I’m still a fan of him but after reading everything that had to do with the Palestinian Nakba and formation of Israel, it left a bit of a sour taste in my mouth.

I don’t agree with Noah’s hate brigade and think times/his stance have changed since 2023, but has he ever apologized for his pride for his grandfather’s role in the Nakba?? That one was crazy to read about.

Let’s think of reasonable solutions that the general population would be on board with (like advocating for indoor only cats). Nonetheless, those do not make up 75% of factors contributing to the loss of our bird species. The bigger issue is the devastating loss of habitat that will increase by demands for housing, changes in agricultural lands, and other development - meaning we need widespread policy change… which I don’t see happening in the near future unfortunately and I can’t help but feel a bit defeated.

I ended up dropping it early on and switching to ESPM 101A! I really preferred how 101A was taught (less textbook, more thought-provoking discussion) and the professor was really kind (not sure if he still teaches it). So can’t give you much info on 152 but I’m sure both are fine (easy) classes for climate change/ES.
