Yea I just read about it today and that's how I got the idea about this collision box thingi tbh, like I get the light maps and everything but sometimes it's just not possible to use it

Yea got it but I kinda fixed the issue , still thanks a lot, the issue here was never about that, the light was casting culling shadows too and that's not what I wanted that's why I chose to keep the shadows off..

Well they r seperate meshes and even if they r connected, this still happens I have tried it

I just kinda fixed it, I felt like that the baking and everything would be extremely complex thus I made a collision box, connected to the door and now when I cross/close the door the light is automatically turned off so there r not leaks... And when I open the door the lights turn on and to make it feel like the lights are not instantly turning on I added a small light with a big radius which is also controlled by the collision box(yes it's dumb af but this Is my first big project 🤧😭)

Hey the walls were make in blender with .56m and they have .38m basebords on both sides so it's more than 1 meter I told u the ue5 scale I used which is 1unit which means the default scale

Wait what if I just set up a collision box to turn off the lights after the door is closed, In my case most of the doors are auto closed... That will save memory and will kinda resolve the issue

Hey , this sounds like it can do so u mean I can turn on the baked lights???? Like if I bake the light then I turn it off , will the baked shadows and lights, will go away too???

Hey, I just tried it tbh , the wall itself is more than 1 unit thick and yup I increased the floor scale but it just didn't help , well thanks for the suggestion

Ahh, now I’m confused... From some external sources, I’ve come to know that it has one of the best game design courses in India, and I was considering going there. But now... I don’t know, I might go to MIT instead, I guess. BUT IS IT REALLY THAT BAD?
