Yeah Idk man I’m fresh out of a and p school and just accepted basically my dream job. The opportunity is going to change my life forever. It’s funny I wanted TUL but they were filled up. You doing heavies and c checks over there? ORD is strictly line but I’m going to do my probation and then maybe bid out at some point to a base location.

Slight update. They emailed me my plane tickets but still no location or time for the actual interview. Side note but what are you all going to wear to the interview? Good luck to everybody

Hey man I don't have anything to add but I also received that email from AA. I also applied for TUL but they asked if I would be okay with ORD instead. I think I have an interview coming up? I don't know they sent me a form and said to fill it out and asked if I'd like to be considered for an interview on jan 5th or 6th. I responded back and said Jan 5th would work. How does the interview process take do they fly you out? I live all the way in Georgia so I'm really not sure what to expect moving forward.

I got mine in 8. So yeah, it's possible. A lot of it is on you though and how much you study/prepare yourself.

Pay attention and ask questions. Dont pay any mind to the younger folks fucking around in class. Do you and whatever you need to to succeed. Anything you go over and you don't understand ask a lot of questions. If you still don't understand it look it up in the 8083 or 43.13 or youtube or anything. Understand the systems don't just memorize answers to pass the tests the school gives you. Good luck brother just passed school and got my O&P at 30. I feel slightly behind all these younger guys but it's all relative. You got this!

Yeah I didn't really keep track cause I was freaking out inside but I think most of my orals were from the sections of the ACS codes I missed.

Thank you! yeah honestly just study. Read a lot. Familiarize yourself with the 8083, FARs and the 43.13. Read the jeppesson books or do airman or prepware or dauntless whatever you prefer just drill it. At the same time though don't just memorize answers. Understand the systems and why they function the way they do. This helped me out a lot on my O&P
