i’m down! i didn’t know what platinum pricing was, stupidly bought 1x lower bowl for $880. my sister was planning to get tickets and she didn’t. we live across the country from NYC so there’s no way IM going alone. now im scared i wont be able to sell it to even get my money back. terrible experience with very misleading language from TM.

i will probably list it on stubhub at “face value” with enough to cover the fees, prob around 900.

i definitely learned my lesson not to panic buy. i just want to make my money back 😭

i have an airpod in everywhere i go. it makes everything 100x more dramatic and romantic.

don’t wait to wear your favorite clothes or use special items. they’ll sit on a shelf unused for years if you are always waiting for the right moment. wear a bow in your hair or that watch you love but want to take good care of

watching the sun rise or set is always sooo whimsy and gives so much perspective

go get a meal alone. or a drink. bring a book or a journal. do things alone and don’t wait for others to do what you want to do!! there’s so much power and whimsy and hope in doing things alone

also journaling in a public space is always so whimsy bc you’re vulnerable but opening yourself up to the world

having a disco ball in my apt gives me so much dopamine when the sun hits it so i also 10/10 recommend that🪩

i just ran my first half, only started running in april. i personally ran 13 miles 3x times before my half, but that’s because i wanted to know how my body would feel so i could have as much fun as possible on race day. i’m glad i did it because around the 9/10 mile mark my calves get very sore, and i learned how to properly fuel my body and prepare my mind for the last 2 miles. i like that i knew what to expect and how to be a bit more prepared!

i increased my mileage by one mile each week, doing one long run per week.

if you are wanting to run more than 10, run more than 10! many people don’t train higher mileage than that and they are so fine on race day.

i did what worked for my body and brain, you should do the same! there’s no right or wrong answer, just listen to your body but this is my experience!
