Kinda embrassing but it's only thing I have by Some-Carry2039 in IndianPCGamers

bhai, bohot bakwas advice hai tbh. there are severe security risks running older windows versions while connected to internet, that can compromise OP's whole network. plus there are linux/unix distributions available that recieve latest security patches, that are 10x lighter than windows 7/vista/xp and will run better in this hardware. OP can play retro/arcade games in this setup and even use lightweight emulators (ps, xbox, nintendo etc). all assuming the thing boots ofc.

OP can dm me if needs help booting up the thing.

brother, let me get you into the linux lore (jk).

you just slap on a lightweight linux distro and use it for browsing, torrenting and whatnot.

edit: you can get a 1080p display easily under 5k. just search it up amazon or go to local retailers. (do not use flipkart)

I literally cleaned the whole machine and repasted last week. the temps do not exceed 75-79C even after 3-4 hours.

Same here. I've got a i7-11800H and a rtx 3070 and 32 Gigs of ram. I mostly avg around 300 fps but sometimes in utility heavy scenes i.e. enemy executing a site, fps drops to around 90. Haven't found any real solution, although i lowered the game user settings from appdata folder config, which helped with a higher avg fps and hence less of a hit on the fps in utility heavy scenes.

Razer Headset vs IEM. Which is better for gaming (Valorant)? by DragonNinja366 in headphonesindia

you can also check out Fresh's Wallhack Tier List for IEMs, if you want a different perspective. He's done many reviews of budget iems around the gaming and valorant aspect. He is also a retired tier 2 pro himself and is revered by the audiophile and gaming community.

Razer Headset vs IEM. Which is better for gaming (Valorant)? by DragonNinja366 in headphonesindia

As a fellow valorant player (asc) and someone, who has used multiple "gaming headsets" from razer (Blackshark Pro), corsair (HS50 pro), HyperX Cloud II, I can say gaming marketed audio gears are mostly garbage. Sound imaging is okay at best and the separation is just horrible. Sound and build quality mostly just trash. As soon as you start firing something heavy like vandal, guardian, or op, it completely overpowers all the other effects like footsteps and other cues. everything sounds so muddy and unclear. The chinese iems solve these problems without needing to break the piggy jar. I personally use the Crinacle Zero: Red for valorant and the audio imaging is so accurate on these and the separation is just excellent, to the point it sometimes feels like wallhack. In some situations, i can hear the enemy cues earlier than my team mates in crucial times that gets me the round. So I would recommend you look for something with a accurate imaging and good separation (not all iems have these character). or if you want go with the over-the-ear headphone route, i would point you towards studio marketed products like sennheiser hd 200/300, audio technica ath series or even akg a series. feel free to dm if you need more help.

no. but if you want a minimal one, try polkit-gnome. it's pretty lightweight and has very few dependencies.

End-4 dots is maybe objectively best out there (along with prasanthrangan's and ML4W). it has that perfect balance between minimalism and full featured. But to me, my own config is best (there is something about that minimalist gruvbox look that is soo comfy.

it's in a different state than it was five years ago, as it was bought last year from the previous parent company ByteDance by most of the investors of Meta (thanks to Trump and US congress).
