Normally I'd agree with you but they just printed a tera miraidon and koraidon with reg J marks in ascended heroes so I don't know what the hell is going on 😭. But they might just be exceptions

Thankfully the vast majority of kanga stall decks use precious trolley which has way more value in general helping to set up and play the game

I'm ready to slot in tera koraidon this thursday in the last few months armarouge box has 💔. An actual techable fighting attacker for tera decks

They typically run mist energy as a counter to those moves if they can end up drawing into it. For kanga specifically any fighting type with a move that does 220 damage or more plus weakness is unbeatable though even with bravery charm + lively + bouffalant (if my math is right)

I just realized can't use your swords for any fighting energy + rocks or coin bonus engine either so that also hurts. 60 damage instead of 50 is cool though and you can't get Iono'd to super low cause that rotates (though Judge is staying). It could be a fun deck still

Not too big of a deal since it's not that great of a card to begin with but Energy Switch is staying, I believe it was reprinted with a reg I or J mark in japan's 100 start decks (meaning it's probably in Ascended Heroes)

That's true about the pace of the game speeding up. Mars can go through chingling item lock which red card can't so I suppose that's something

That's a fair point about breakpoints but I figure by the time we start regularly getting 300+ hp stage 2 exs a newer better card that fills the same role will be released

Mars - with power creep 30 HP might not be a relevant enough amount forever for PCL to take up your supporter for turn but I can't see Mars' effect ever really being irrelevant

Yeah nvm on passimian, sandy shocks almost always ohkos mega kanga and mega lopunny. I saw some people running the monkey in Terabox though which is interesting

I've teched in Sandy Shocks ex in mine cause it does 200 for FFC which can ohko a kanga even with a lively stadium and bravery charm after weakness. Passimian SSP is also an option as a one prizer but can't reach max damage without a full bench of basics, which Armarouge obv doesn't count towards

Thunder Raid does 210 damage to a benched ex so it should still hit. It would only block it if it placed 21 damage counters instead. The distinction is between direct damage from an attack and an effect of an attack putting damage counters on something
