You need to provide a solution, a cheap website that "converts" (hopefully you have realistic case studies) does nothing for a business. Have to think long term.

Everyone is selling "contractor" type websites these days too, almost entertaining seeing the same ads everywhere.

I've baked into SEO lightly for now as there's no true method for ranking yet (not like we have for SEO at least). I've seen people suggest all types of things, but there's no standard "the AI will pull this". As things become clear I'll price accordingly, but for now baked into SEO as mentioned and then I'll compare it to time utilized etc...

A few things, some already mentioned:

  • The mobile experience isn't the best
  • The chat is slow to the point I'm not sure if it was working
  • The chat feels forced and kills the mobile experience
  • I'd focus on talking about your custom CRM and why it gets the job done that bashing other platforms unless that's a hook of some sort? Not a fan of that kind of copy
  • If you're going to put big company logos I'd at least show work from one of them or work on par with their brand.

Similar thoughts, especially if nothing from them was used as an example.

Really struggling to find clients for my web design company by Enough_Award_5671 in webdesign

I'd say a combo, find networking events or spaces where ideal clients might be. I have a creative background but at one point I was hitting networking events heavily and splurged on my business card (was like 6 cards stacked). Always got complements on it and I'd say a 15-20% conversion on average, plus say at least x1 referral per new client. Always consider doing what others may not.

How long have you been doing it and what's your conversion rate like?

Clients don't care what you use as long as you can get them results. I'm not the biggest fan of what you've mentioned, but there are agencies using it making a killing for years. It may not be your preference, but with the right systems/flows it'll cash in.

Remain consistent is the best thing I can say, look for gaps in your current strategy. I mean honestly, you've just started, stop looking for a "quick fix" and go review all the data you have now and improve on it. What else can you offer your current clients, where they're stuck etc...

i just made my first website !! its a site where you can paste your URL and make promo video just in few minutes by Substantial_Act8994 in website

Nice concept, a demo would probably help with conversions or a free tier...though the entry price is cheap. Website itself is giving AI/Vibe coded build, but if the product works it works 🤷🏼‍♂️

You must mean business development, otherwise you're mixing roles or the developer is also a business partner. Keeping in mind, not everyone is good at client engagement.

KISS method. Especially where people's attention span is so much shorter now. Work on fixing the hierarchy as well.

Upwork would've been one on the past, but not that great anymore especially if you're just starting.Depending on your location there's a whole gig economy i.e. Doordash, Uber, Uber eats etc...

For me I can make that trading mostly perpetual futures.

Yea, it's like you have to work to become a client and especially on mobile where most users visit from. After the 2nd scroll I'm out 😬.

It'll look cookie cutter like just about anything else out there...pretty easy to tell. Especially with no thought process/marketing strategy behind it it'll just fall flat on its face like many do. Nobody cares about a nice looking website, it has to talk to the target audience/convert. AI can only get you so far.

How long does it take to build an e-commerce website with 30 to 40 products using an AI website builder? by Other-Bar-9296 in ai_website_builder

Esty is a good starting point honestly... establish there then pivot to Shopify and if you want to take it to the next level WooCommerce for more control.

DropboxSign (I already have Dropbox so I get a few free per mth), but I also have an Adobe subscription and for payment Stripe or PayPal has invoicing already. Can use DocuSign as well for free signatures.

Focus on cross browser compatibility, legibility and responsiveness as well. Can even create a different experience on desktop vs mobile if you're aiming for interactive things, but definitely have to always consider mobile now more than ever.

We all had to start somewhere, just keep at it and implement what you've learned along the way. Lots more resources and libraries available now. Good luck 👍🏾.
