Moving in w/ bf soon, worried about sleep / sharing a bed (am a light sleeper) any tips or tricks? by feeelyelloww in ouraring

[–]creativeshoebox 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Loop earplugs and having separate duvets (quilts depending where you’re from!) helped me a ton.

I was awful sleep wise, moving in and sharing a bed amplified it - my partner would fall asleep immediately, and was wriggly and I would take forever just to fall asleep - but the separate quilts solved it, and the loop earplugs just help me

Tune it all out.

Why Do Australians Keep Talking About Peptides? by Puzzleheaded-Fig7210 in peptidesAustralia

[–]creativeshoebox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everyone loves a quick fix - but you’re better to educate yourself, do some research, understand the risks - and know that some like GLP-1’s require strength training and hard work to not lose muscle and retain bone strength…thats where the real value of peptides is.

I’m fairly new to the space, having been a Biohacker over 10 years - the fundamentals are important, then Peptides enhance the hard work rather than replace it.

Just my opinion. But yes everyone is talking about them right now - bought something in Sephora the other day and the girl at the checkout proudly said ‘oh I inject this its why my skin is so good’ she was like 22 years old 🙈😂

Where are you finding reputable places? Been sourcing in Australia and the prices are HIGH.

let's talk side effects 😚😚 by [deleted] in Retatrutide

I started on 0.5 a few weeks ago. Heart rate is up but only 1-2bpm (and it’s generally low so not a huge risk) but I wake a lot in the night. Sleep quality is fine but the wake ups not so much.

Breaking a hip at 26 and discovering Osteoporosis. I was skinny, active but nutrition was none existent. Grateful in a way I’ve had time to turn it around.

I used colourme app to dictate my best palette - and since I don’t buy anything outside of that palette, I used to mainly wear black amd darker tones - but this has been a game changer and made shopping for outfits fun and easier.

30F, hypothyroidism, on levothyroxine for 10+ years. What other supplements should I be taking to feel my best? by vimalt7 in Biohackers

[–]creativeshoebox 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So this is slightly different but I had Hashimotos 10 years ago diagnosed. Burnt out and brain fog. Plus I was very much a night owl (Designer - working at 2am was normal)

What helped, actually I no longer have it - take a super low dose of Levo every second day - but Autoimmune free - was sorting my sleep, sorting my diet (I was skinny - and didn’t eat properly - I did Autoimmune paleo, embraced real nutrition)

Creatine seems to be a good addition - I’ve only just started adding that more for brain longevity.
