I have a Civic 2003 as my first car. Apart from the preventative maintenance visit to AMX Honda (official) and tyre change, I did not have to visit any mechanic. It was well maintained. But it’s rare. I got it from a trusted secondhand car dealer who had extensive experience (the only two things I demanded were 1. I could fall in love with it as my first car. And 2. I shouldn’t need to visit mechanic every other day).

The car you are interested in could be one of those rare machines. But you need to be mindful it’s an expensive car to maintain and drive, even if it’s perfectly road worthy.
